If you are in the path of the hurricanes planned route,The best I can suggest at this point in time is to remember to check your stocked supplies. Remember you need at least 2 gallons of water per person per day, this includes what may be needed for cooking. If you have a grill stock up on wood and keep it dry in case you need it if the power goes out and you need to cook, boil water etc... Hopefully you have stocked up enough food an supplies to get through and it's better to over-prepare than under-prepare. Anticipate and prepare for at least two weeks without power, water, or food. don't wait until the last minute it will be crazier than Black Friday at the stores.. Shelves will be drained, and people will be fighting over last minute basics. Make sure you have enough coolers and ice in case you lose power and your Fridge is full. Remember flashlights, batteries, Emergency radios for news updates, lighters, matches, zip bags in case you are in an area likely to flood, instant "just add water" hot foods, ponchos, tarps and so much more.. You can never over prepare! I would rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it! and most of all make sure you have somewhere secure and safe to buckle down if needed. Keep supplies and stay as high as you can in case of flooding. Please comment on anything you have prepared in case you remembered something someone else may be forgetting. I hope everybody is safe and is ok when this is over.
Be Safe and Happy Prepping!
